Columbia Distributing is proud to be a sponsor of the Corporate Internship Program at De La Salle North Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. De La Salle provides a college preparatory high school education with the goal of developing tomorrow’s community leaders by making high-quality education accessible to motivated young people in a learning environment that values cultural, spiritual, and ethnic diversity.

Our sponsorship of the Corporate Internship Program includes employing four De La Salle students in a job-share team. Each student works five days per month, working in a rotating schedule, in a standard Monday-through-Friday business week schedule. The program sets the tone for student behavior and expectations in the workplace and in the classroom. Through participation in the Corporate Internship Program, students receive academic credit and gain valuable real-world experience, equipping them for life beyond high school.
