Silver City was started in 1996 by Co-owners Steve & Scott Houmes, and it remains a locally owned and operated business. Silver City Brewery’s handcrafted beers are available on draft, in 22oz bottles, 12oz bottle & 12oz can 6-packs across Washington State in bars, restaurants, and grocery stores.
Thomas Kemper Soda was first brewed by Andy Thomas and Will Kemper as alternative to beer at an Octoberfest celebration on Bainbridge Island, WA in 1990. The first Thomas Kemper Soda was handcrafted Root Beer. Thomas Kemper Sodas are still handcrafted and made with honey (although cane sugar is the primary sweetener), Madagascar vanilla, and other flavors available.
We tested our first batch in our Mexican brewery, and after a few exploding bottles,we perfected the craft with the help of the experts at University of California, Davis.Our team’s first U.S. production took place in the Pac Northwest in 2015, and was released into the market late summer of that year. We are committed to serving authentic, clean and refreshing beverages to our communities.Brewed like craft beer, our fermented aguas frescas use a natural blend of real fruit, extracts, and yeast in every batch.

We craft our ciders from great cider apples that we grow on our orchard in sunny East Wenatchee, WA. Our incredible region gives our trees the ideal conditions to grow apples packed with the flavors necessary to produce fine ciders. Hot sunny summers and cold snowy winters result in apples that mature with incredible aromatics and delicious flavors. When ripened to perfection, we pick these apples and craft them with the utmost care into fine cider blends, resulting in rich ciders full of delicious complexity.
