Lambarena ensures everything runs smoothly during her workday at Columbia Distributing, from the accuracy of route plans to on-time deliveries. “There’s a lot of teamwork and communication throughout the day between departments to make sure we’re staying flexible and handling any last-minute route changes that pop up,” says Lambarena.
A huge part of Lambarena’s role is fielding communication between drivers and the rest of the team to ensure they stay safe and have the best route possible. “I make sure our routing plans are accurate and efficient.” This is essential for keeping orders delivered promptly. Her role also requires excellent customer service skills and good communication with clients.
