Ravenswood

The wine world and California’s place in it has changed a lot since 1976. But the more things change, the more they stay the same around our Sonoma Valley headquarters. In this brave new enologically altered world, where wineries compete to produce wines that mimic the latest darling that’s captured wine reviewers’ fancy, we stand by our love of old-vine varieties and our belief in traditional Old-World winemaking. Ravenswood continues to set a standard for uncompromising wines that are true to the places where the grapes grew – nothing less, nothing more.

Paso Creek

Paso Creek’s bold, juicy, full-bodied, and densely flavored wines provide a glimpse into the heartland of America. Through stubborn patience, the winemaking and vineyard teams wrest the true expression of Paso out of this uniquely challenging environment. Along with that, Paso Creek’s winemaking team works tirelessly to create true-to-varietal, consistent wines vintage over vintage.

Notable

Mt. Veeder

The debut wine from Mount Veeder Winery was the 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon.  Since that first vintage, Mount Veeder Winery has expanded to three vineyard ranches nestled high in the Mayacamas Mountains and continues to produce powerful, bold wines that are a true expression of this unique wine-growing region.

Estancia

Estancia is translated from the Spanish word for “estate,” and emphasizes our conviction that the world’s best wines capture the essence of their place of origin. With over 30 years of experience, Estancia relies on the benefits of boutique-style winemaking techniques, including whole-cluster fermentation, gentle punch downs, and basket pressing. It is this crafting of the wines, from grapes to bottle, that results in our consistent and superior wine quality.

Dreaming Tree

When Dave Matthews and Sean McKenzie first met, they realized they had a few things in common, like a passion for making wine at least as strong as their passion for drinking it.

They set out into wine country, looking for a way to make quality wines accessible to everyone. Along the way, they found inspiration in the down-to-earth characters and unforgettable flavors that give the region its rare kind of charm.

Cuttings

Inspired by the age-old method of using cuttings from idyllic sites for the propagation of new vines, this Cabernet Sauvignon showcases some of our favorite hillside vineyards. Cuttings combines the deep, intense flavor of Cabernet Sauvignon with the structure and richness of Petite Sirah and Syrah. A small amount of Zinfandel adds a nice layer of complexity and spiciness.

Clos Du Bois

After traveling France’s wine regions, founder Frank Woods returned home inspired to marry the elegant French style of winemaking with his vibrant California fruit. Decades later, we continue to embrace his winemaking philosophy, earning a devoted following among those who love refined, approachable wines.
