Thorn

You don’t know what it wants and you’ve underestimated its character. But you can feel it watching your every move. A cunning presence lingers, like a thorn in your side. It isn’t going anywhere.

Earthy aromas open up into cocoa, blackberry, cedar, and anise. It’s smooth with flavors of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and a mild toastiness. The finish is long with balanced acidity.

The Snitch

When creating our wines, we always look for fresh approaches to traditional varietals. For The Snitch, we combined Chardonnay from exceptional vineyards in warm Oak Knoll and cool-climate Carneros with just a touch of Roussanne. The result is bright and rich with an unexpected something special.

Toasted Head

Named for the traditional practice of toasting barrel heads and staves to impart a mellow, toasted flavor to barrel-aged wines, Toasted Head began making hand-crafted wines at our vineyards in the Dunnigan Hills of Yolo County, California in 1995.

Tom Gore

Grapes are Tom’s greatest passion and with over two decades of expertise, Tom knows every decision he makes in the vineyard affects the quality and flavor of our wines. Tom grows his grapes using meticulous farming techniques, and works closely with winemaker, Maureen Martin. Tom and Maureen work side by side, tasting the wines at various stages throughout their development, and collaborating on the blending process to ensure each wine expresses the story of the growing season in the vineyard. In the end, it’s a difference you can taste in your glass.

Vernor’s Ginger Ale

Without the Civil War, There Would Be No Vernors. Before the conflict began, James Vernor, a Detroit pharmacist, had concocted a new drink. When Vernor was called off to war in 1862, he stored the secret mixture in an oak cask in his pharmacy. After returning from battle four years later, he opened his secret keg and found the drink inside had been transformed.

Diet Rite

Diet Rite was introduced in 1958 by the Royal Crown Co. as the first diet soft drink. With this revolutionary introduction, health-conscious soft drink lovers were finally given a choice consistent with their lifestyle – a great-tasting cola with no calories, sodium or caffeine.

SAVED

SAVED Wines is an artistic expression of the Freedom of Craft. SAVED Wines focuses on two blends—a powerful Red Blend and a unashamedly dry Rose. SAVED Red Blend and Magic Maker Rosé are sourced from the best sub-appellations across California. Sourcing from the most sought out sub-appellations enables SAVED wines to encompass full, robust flavor profiles with rich tannins and structure.

Saldo

Saldo doesn’t fit in, but that doesn’t matter. When you’re from “here and there” (that’s what Saldo means in Latin), you don’t need to form to one, single place. That’s the funny thing about expectations—they’re made to be broken.

Dark ruby color with bold aromas of black licorice, black pepper, cherry, and baking spice. The entry is rich, full, and scintillating. The palate is mouthwatering and smooth with a hint of chocolate. The finish is voluptuous with soft, velvety tannins.

Rex Goliath

At the turn of the 20th century, HRM (His Royal Majesty) Rex Goliath was the treasured attraction of a Texas circus. People came from far and wide to behold the 47 lb. bird, billed as the “World’s Largest Rooster.” Our label replicates the one-of-a-kind vintage artwork from the circus banner that hung above Rex’s roost, and we proudly honor Rex with our premium varietal wines.

Our wines are a tribute to Rex’s larger-than-life personality, with bold, fruit-forward flavors that are sure to please. In essence, Rex is all about letting BOLD fruit flavors express themselves in an easy-to-drink, worry-free fashion. Bold Wines. Fun Times.
