Born in the heart of Sisters, Oregon, renowned for the region’s brewing fame and gateway to Central Oregon’s beer and adventure, we relentlessly pursue crafting classic Northwest beers of uncompromising quality and consistency. We use skill, heart, and only the best stuff to brew our beer. Like the finest malts from around the world, Oregon famed hops right out our doorstep, and pristine water from our own Cascade Mountains. Because we believe how a beer is made and what it’s made of matters a lot.
Founded in 2010 by three passionate brewers, Mother Earth Brew Co. had one goal; to create distinguished, hand crafted beers that stimulate sensory conversation and a desire for the next sip. From a modest garage, to over 70,000 sq. ft., Mother Earth Brew Co. maintains our original goal – to challenge even the most discriminating beer drinker by creating complex, palate-pleasing beers, and to promote the art and science of craft beer making.
In the pursuit of the perfect beer, we’ve brewed A LOT of different styles. On our pilot system in a little back alley warehouse, we brewed over 130 original batches. From that, we narrowed it down to our favorites, which we refer to as our Flagship lineup. We offer these Flagship styles year round, while our Seasonal styles are rotating to compliment the ever changing tastes & sensations of the current season. At the end of this page you’ll find our brew graveyard. These are styles we’ve brewed in the past that we more than likely won’t brew again. But, who knows? We may very well resurrect one from the dead!
Whipsaw Brewing is rooted in the belief that good beer stems from great people. From the farmers and millworkers that supply our ingredients, to the friends that we swap stories with over a pint -We’ve found that the only thing that tastes as good as drinking our own cut, is sharing the rest.

Alameda Brewing Co. is a small brewery that began its life in the heart of Beaumont Village in Northeast Portland, Oregon. The 5-barrel (155 gallon) brewery began producing craft beers in 1996. All of its beers are produced on location under the careful watch of the head brewer. He produces a wide variety of beers, from the light, refreshing Siskiyou Golden Ale to the deep, impenetrable Black Bear XX Stout to the extremely hoppy Yellow Wolf Imperial IPA. Alameda is perhaps known best for the Black Bear XX Stout, which won the Gold Medal at the 2003 and 2005 GABF and the Silver Medal in 2006 and 2008 in the foreign-style stout category. In addition, there are always numerous seasonal beers on tap to fit the mood of the season and one selection served on nitrogen.
The brewery specializes in English and American West Coast style beers along with an elaborate oak aging program. In 2012, the brewery produced 4500 barrels of draft only – with half being served on premise and half sold to the Odom Corporation for distribution throughout Alaska and Washington.
