We at Founders Brewing Co. have been lucky to evolve into one of the highest recognized breweries in the United States. We’ve won six World Beer Cup medals, four European Beer Star medals and three Great American Beer Festival medals—thirteen medals total across eight different beers.

Our in-house craft brewery revives a brewing tradition in McMinnville started in 1878 by Anton Ahrens and W.R. Bachman of Ahrens Brewing Company. First brewery in Portland, Oregon to package beer in aluminum cans! We are now operating on a 10bbl system after upgrading from our little 1bbl nano-brewery. After 3 years of churning out tiny, little, mini “nano” batches on a non-stop basis, we actually get to have a little time left over for events and minor necessities like sleep.

Today, Ordnance Brewing is an outlier, a brewery out past the far edges of Pacific Northwest population centers, far from the region’s corporate breweries and dense brewer communities – smack dab in the middle of a beer desert.
