Offering 160mg of naturally occurring clean caffeine per can, this combination offers a jitter-free boost without the unpleasant crash.

Meet Schilling Cider’s Kid Sibling

DAOU Vineyards: Wine Made On A Mountain

“There is a power within this Mountain we call home. It is a power that can turn mere raindrops and roots into extraordinary wines – and into lasting relationships – that will endure for decades. Every day we strive to create an experience as beautiful as these wines, ensuring that everyone who leaves here feels like family. There is nothing more important than human connection.” Georges & Daniel Daou, Proprietors

DAOU Vineyards Rose

Made on a Mountain in Paso Robles

DOAU Vineyards is based in Paso Robles’ Adelaida District AVA. As Jamie Freitas, our Wine & Spirits Business Development Director in Wilsonville (OR), noted in our recent DAOU video, Paso Robles has a similar environment and elevation as France’s Bordeaux and regional neighbor Napa thus creating incredible wines in Northern California.

Our DAOU Wine Flight Recommendations

DAOU has an incredible line-up of varieties, making it great for all occasions. If you’re ready to dive into their portfolio, Jamie recommends the following wines as a sampler and to keep on hand. Wine descriptions from DAOU’s website.

  • Sauvignon Blanc: “Lovely and bright – a quintessential rendition of Paso Robles Sauvignon Blanc… Decisively refreshing, this wine finishes clean with lingering notes of dragon fruit, passionfruit, and citrus.”
  • Chardonnay: “A lush, vibrant palate displays tropical flavors of mango, kiwi and pineapple with kisses of golden apple and clover honey. Suggestions of casaba melon, citrus zest and toasty oak persist on a clean, balanced finish.”
  • Rosé: “Made from gently pressed Grenache grapes in the classic Old World style, the 2022 Rosé presents a pretty pale flamingo hue with scintillating aromas of fresh strawberry, guava, and honeysuckle… Hints of spiced peach, mango and watermelon are complemented by red delicious apple, kiwi, apricot and honeydew melon, all cascading into a clean, refreshing finish.”
  • Cabernet Sauvignon: “The 2021 DAOU Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep ruby-purple color, foreshadowing intense aromas of cherry and blackberry jam complemented by dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and desert sage… An impeccably balanced finish flows effortlessly from the juicy mid palate, leaving lovely notes of boysenberry, rhubarb, graphite and dried thyme.”

Find Your Om with Zentopia

Founded in 2019 in Eugene, Oregon, Zentopia CBD Beverages entered the market providing delicious, guilt-free options for folks to relax, or get a boost of “zendurance”, during stressful days.

WHAT ARE CBD DRINKS? WILL I FEEL ANYTHING?

Straight from Zentopia: CBD drinks are beverages infused with cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive compound derived from the cannabis plant. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD does not produce a ‘high’ but offers calming and therapeutic effects. These drinks make it easy to consume CBD in a familiar, enjoyable way.

CBD interacts with your Endocannabinoid System (ECS), a complex network of receptors found throughout the body that helps regulate sleep, mood, pain, and stress. When you consume CBD in a beverage, it is absorbed through your digestive system. This process takes longer compared to oils or tinctures that you place under your tongue, but the effects tend to last longer.

Feeling the effects of will vary when drinking Zentopia:

  • Onset Time: 30 minutes – 2 hours, depending on metabolism and food intake.
  • Duration: 4 – 6 hours, making them ideal for sustained relaxation or focus throughout the day.

To learn more, we recommend you check out Zentopia’s excellent article that offers a review of safety, myths, and other FAQs; or check out our interviews with Zentopia’s President Cassia Zeller on your favorite platform: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or YouTube.

COOL. WHAT’S AVAILABLE?

We proudly distribute Zentopia’s two varieties – Chill and Boost – throughout Oregon and Washington.

Chill has the benefits of stress-busting CBD in lemonade and sparkling water options, with 50mg of CBD and low to no calories:

  • Huckleberry Lemonade

Iron Horse Brewery Plows the Way

Founded in 2004 by John Quilter, Iron Horse Brewery has plowed the way to make incredible beer in Ellensburg, WA. In 2007, Gary and Greg Parker, investors who helped finance and worked behind the scenes at IHB, bought the brewery after Jim said he was ready to move on.

With a sense of humor and steadfastness, the Parkers learned on the fly to keep Iron Horse moving forward. Fast forward 20 years since its founding, Iron Horse Brewery now boasts as one of the top independent breweries in Washington, producing over 22,000 barrels of beer annually.

The below descriptions were pulled from IHB’s site; majority are available in 6-pack cans and/or draught. Please contact your local Columbia Distributing rep or office to learn about other beers that may be available to retailers.

Core Beers:

  • Gato Grande Mexican Dark Lager: Darker in appearance but goes down light and finishes crisp. Low bitterness, effervescent, with a slight fruity aroma. (ABV: 4.7%)
  • Mel’s Magic IPA: Big on hops, full in flavor, Mel’s Magic is a well deep in character. This unclear beer matches the myth that precedes it. (ABV: 6.8%)
  • Mid-Light Crisis: A low calorie, low abv, highly delicious ale that drinks like a lager. (3.96%)
  • Quilter’s Irish Death: The namesake beer of Iron Horse Brewery’s founder, Jim Quilter. This malt focused brew – dark in color and deep in taste – defies those pesky style guidelines. This beer is a little bit extra, and will always be a dark, smooth ale. (ABV: 7.8%)
  • Timothy Hay-Z: Citra and Azacca hops are baled together with unmalted wheat and oats, giving this beer crop a sweet, citrus flavor and hazy-like appearance. (ABV: 6.25)

Seasonal Death Beers:

  • Aloha Death: A dark smooth ale brewed with coconut and inspired by Irish Death; the malt forward profile brings the tropics with hints of coconut and chocolate. (ABV: 6.8%)
  • Chocolate Hazelnut Death: The Death series continues with this chocolate and hazelnut flavor infused variation of our classic dark, smooth, brew. Orange peel rounds out this beer to add to the complexity of this flavor bomb. (ABV: 7.3%)
  • Cookie Death: This big, bodied beer has notes of caramel, cinnamon, oatmeal and raisin to round out the dark smooth base. No milk required. (ABV 7.8%)
  • Mexican Coco Death: This dark chocolatey beer brings in hints of vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and pasilla chiles to warm things up as fall sets. (ABV: 7.5%)
  • Tiramisu Death: Teer-a-me-sue? We don’t know how it’s pronounced either but we know we like it and we know it’s an appropriate French cake for Death. (ABV: 9.7%)

Seasonal & Limited Release Beers:

  • 509 Pilsner, Release the Beast Limited Series: Our rotating selection of experimental batches in collaboration with local Hop growers and Malt producers in Washington State. Fourth in the series is a Hoppy Pilsner made in collaboration with Hopstiener and Cascadia Malts. (ABV: 4.5%)
  • Cozy Sweater Vanilla Milk Stout: This dark, chocolatey stout is stitched together with lactose and vanilla to keep your tastes buds all warm and snuggly. (ABV:5%)
  • Double Rainbow Red IPA: A slightly sweet malt base is mashed together with Eureka hops creating a perfect malty-hoppy balance, akin to seeing a double rainbow after a rainstorm or on YouTube. (ABV: 7.4%)
  • High-Five Hefe: Ginger and Honey join forces to create a zesty citrus flavor. Light and bright, you’ll thank yourself with drinking this cold, crisp high five. (ABV: 6%)
  • Uncommonly Cold IPA: Hints of citrus make this hoppy Cold IPA feel neat, tidy and refreshing on your taste buds, reminding us all to embrace the unique and eschew the mundane.
  • Velvet Shine Hazy Pale: This retro inspired pale is a cloudy tune spun in with tropical fruit notes and melonic (see what we did there?) hop notes to keep grooving on the dance floor all day long. (ABV: 5%)

And the brand new RISE Mocha Death: when you take PNW favorites – coffee, chocolate and Irish Death – and combine them into one delicious, malt-forward ale. This Rise Brewery Co. collaboration is for those who can’t decide between coffee or beer. We say, why choose? (Seasonal; ABV: 7.5%)

Celebrate the Fall with Trinchero Family Estates

Each February and September, Trinchero Family Estates hosts its Heritage Month to highlight its family of brands. This month we’re excited to feature the following seven wines – and a spirit.

Avissi Prosecco
The name “Avissi” comes from the delightful fizzy sound the bubbles make as they happily rise in the glass, which releases a gorgeous bouquet of delicate floral notes and fruity aromas. Inviting fresh fruit flavors lead to a clean crispness on the palate and refined finish, making it the perfect match for a wide variety of cuisines and occasions.

Ceretto Arneis Blange

Crisp and bright, vibrant acidity and enticing aromas of green apple, Bartlett pear, and orange blossom intertwined with subtle hints of almond, this wine will pair well with a wide variety of food and is lovely on its own, by-the-glass on any occasion.

Echo Bay Sauvignon Blanc

With bright, pure flavors and a fun-loving personality, Echo Bay contains the spectacular natural beauty of New Zealand’s South Island. Zesty citrus aromas lead to layers of passionfruit, grapefruit and gooseberry flavors, followed by a clean, refreshing finish. It’s exquisite on its own or paired with lighter fare.

Neyers Carneros District Chardonnay

The aromas are immediately attractive with a lemon/lime zest quality and the flavors beckon you in with their softness and intrigue. It’s medium-to full-bodied with bright acidity, spiced apple flavors, and a subtle toasty component.

San Polo Rubio

Rubio has a brilliant ruby red color with purple hues. Intensely fruity aromas, with notes of cherry, violet, and black currant, followed by spicy notes. The sensations of berries and cherries, typical of the variety, give it great drinkability, in addition to considerable intensity and elegance. It is perfect by the glass, thanks to its versatility, and ideal for outdoor barbecues.

Vitiano Blanco

Produced in Umbria, Italy, Falesco’s Vitiano Bianco beautifully merges freshness and structure. Floral aromas meld with green apple and citrus notes, delivering a wine that is both crisp and harmonious. It epitomizes Central Italy’s prowess in crafting expressive white wines.

Vitiano Rosso

The wine has an intense red color with violet reflections. The aroma has fruity notes in great balance with the sweetness of the wood. The taste is strong, round, pleasant with a rich and harmonic finish.

Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila

Ideal for sipping or mixing, with a pleasant taste and silky texture that combines vibrant and sweet agave aromas with supporting notes of citrus, wild mint, and pear, typical of the Tequila Valley terroir.
