As a relief driver, James plays a unique and essential role. Unlike a traditional route driver, James steps in wherever he’s needed, covering routes, adapting to new schedules, and ensuring deliveries are made on time, every time.

“A typical day starts by preparing at the warehouse, before heading out on my assigned route,” James says. “Most of my day consists of delivering products on time and building relationships with our clients personally to ensure great customer service.”

James’s flexibility and reliability make him a key part of our distribution team. His ability to adapt to different routes and build strong client relationships ensures that every delivery meets our high standards. Whether he’s helping to cover a last-minute shift or handling a complex delivery route, James brings consistency, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset to every task.

James joined Columbia Distributing with a background in customer service and an interest in being on the road. What drew him to the company was our culture of teamwork, excellence, and dedication to service. “The culture at Columbia is welcoming, friendly, and hardworking,” he says.
